Roasted Asparagus With Serrano Ham

It is Spring and that means it is asparagus season!! My favorite way to prepare asparagus it to simply drizzle it with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and then roast it under the broiler. We have directions for this on our last post on asparagus. It is really a great dish that is easy to prepare.

I did, however, find a way to improve upon it… add Serrano ham! For my birthday Carolyn got me a nice portion of Serrano ham. When sliced thinly it perfectly complements the asparagus.  All I did was lay the asparagus on a bed of thinly sliced ham. Ga-Wow, delicious!
