I have finally found a local store that has Avocado oil. It turns out not to be Whole Food or Williams and Sonoma, but surprisingly my local Giant started carrying it. It is pretty expensive at $10 a bottle, but it packs a lot of flavor and should go a long way on salads. It has a rich buttery avocado flavor. We made a quick salad dressing with it last night.
