luke, i'm too lazy to read through the comments and other followups you might have, but i have a good recipe for pulled pork if you want. i brought it to my frisbee team's potluck last year, and people complained when i showed up this year without it. man you gotta come out to seattle sometime so we can eat together!

Anxious to see how your souffle attempts work out...they scare me too!

Just found this wonderful blog while looking for a french onion soup recipe. I just made mine the stovetop way, but will do the onions-in-the-oven next time! One of my resolutions is to check back here more often. I love making quiche, If you have leftover chicken fat - use it in a quiche crust. If not, a third shortening to volume of flour, and a third of the shortening should be butter. Guaranteed raves on your crust will follow. A very Happy New Year to you.

I would have to say my culinary resolution for 2009 would be to keep trying out all those cool recipes that I find on the "interwebs", but from now on writing about it on my new food blog.

And of course perfecting my food photography skills in the process. BTW: thanks for the insight on this subject, that's how I found your blog. I would love to read more about the technical side of food blogging. ;)
